major and minor scales to extended tonality, modal harmony and chromaticism. The
harmony of blues, rock and jazz is presented in an original study. The
harmony of Greek music (traditional, rebetika and folk) is presented in a
complete way, for the first time in the Greek literature. Contains
over 300 examples, excerpts from well-known songs. All
examples are harmonically analyzed, transcribed for piano and included on the 2
cds accompanying the release (1 cd in each volume). Terminology
consistent with international literature is used. The
technique of harmonization and reharmonization is explained, with exemplary
