This book is an introduction to Music Pedagogy and is addressed to music pedagogues and pre-school and primary education teachers, candidates and active. It is divided into two parts, the Theoretical and the Experiential. In the first part, the issues concerning the theoretical part of Music Pedagogy are developed. Alongside the theoretical framework, contemporary proposals and ideas, which have been applied in practice and concern music education, are presented.

Exercises and instrumental compositions in the Experiential (second) part, active listening, performance and creation activities are proposed, which are the three main axes of the way of musical expression. The goal of these activities is the multidimensional approach to music lessons, so that students can form their own point of view and aesthetics for understanding music, both as listeners and as performers and creators. Aiming to connect speech, music, visuals and dramatic expression, eleven of the songs are unified thematically, creating a musical fairy tale. Students have the opportunity to present it as a musical theater performance, where they narrate the texts, sing and dramatize the songs.

The book is accompanied by an electronic folder containing the original musical material of the book to facilitate the study and the realization of the activities, as well as electronic scores of original songs from the book, edited for two-part choir and small musical ensembles.
